About the Recreation Department 

For over 50 years, the TCPUD Parks and Recreation Department has worked tirelessly to provide facilities, programs, activities, and special events to enrich the lives of residents and those visiting throughout the year. From sailing on the lake to parks, golf, and winter sports, the TCPUD offers a wide range of activities and services for the entire community. 

Resident Rates

Resident rate refers to customers that live and/or own property in the Tahoe City Public Utility District service area. Residents of the service area receive a reduced rate off many of our recreation fees as a portion of their property taxes are used to support parks and recreation services.
