Waitlists: R.A.P. is currently full for the September - December semester. We encourage enrollees sign for the waitlist as we actively monitor for any cancellations and possible enrollment count changes.
Description
Our Recreation Afterschool Program (R.A.P.) is available to grades Transitional Kindergarten (TK) - 5th students of the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District and Creekside Charter School. Located in Portable #24 at Tahoe Lake Elementary, 375 Grove Street, Tahoe City.
Creekside transportation from after school to our R.A.P. program is currently provided at this time. Monday-Thursday, we will provide transportation of Creekside students that are enrolled in R.A.P. after school to our R.A.P. room at Tahoe Lake Elementary. Pre-registration for transportation will be required.
Our R.A.P. September - December Program begins Tuesday, September 3 and ends Friday, December 20 and will follow the TTUSD school calendar for holidays and early release days.
Our R.A.P. January - June Program begins Monday, January 6, 2025 and ends Friday, June 6, 2025. (Online Registration for January-June opens Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 12pm).
Every kid looks forward to afterschool activities! In the Recreation Afterschool Program, your child can join us for daily homework time and assistance, arts & crafts, active and passive games, enrichment activities, special events, and much more. This recreation-based afterschool program is for children in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. It is an all inclusive program that is meant to provide recreation and enrichment opportunities to all participants in a safe and positive environment.
Cost:
Daily Drop-In Rate:
- $12 per day, per TTUSD Student
- $15 per day, per Creekside (eligible for transportation from Creekside to R.A.P.)
- Please note, for Creekside drop-in registrations, please inquire within the Recreation Office to ensure transportation is available for the day or days needed. (email or 530-583-3440 ext. 2).
- For day of registration, (and if space is available) registration will close each day at 10:00am. For example, if you need to register for Friday, September 6, you have until 10:00am on Friday, September 6 to register online.

Semester Pass:
Winter - Spring Semester Pass; January 6 - June 6, 2025:
- TTUSD Student: January - June 2025 Semester Pass: $475
- Creekside Student: January - June 2025 Semester Pass: $525 (eligible for transportation from Creekside to R.A.P.)
- Passes are non-transferrable and must be purchased in the name of the person that will be using the pass.

Program Notes & Registration Requirements (Know Before You Go):
- R.A.P. is open to Transitional Kinders - 5th grade students of TTUSD and Creekside Charter.
- R.A.P. January - June 2025 Semester Passes go on sale, and registration for R.A.P. will open to all Residents and Non-Residents on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 12:00pm.
- January - June 2025 Program begins Monday, January 6 and ends Friday, June 6 and will follow the TTUSD school calendar for holidays and early release days.
- Program time is after school to 5:30pm Monday-Friday (excluding holidays & teacher contract days) and 12pm to 5:30pm on early release days.
- Please be aware if TCPUD Recreation has to cancel R.A.P. for any reason, program credits will be applied to your account if applicable.

Snow Days:
- If TTUSD calls a snow day, R.A.P. will also be closed as it is deemed unsafe to be on campus. Notifications of closures will be sent out to R.A.P. families and posted on our social media channels as soon as possible.
