Lake Forest Campground

The Campground is CLOSED for the entire 2024 season.

The TCPUD will begin critical rehabilitation work on the North Shore Trail starting June 10th, 2024. This project is the first phase of a broader effort to improve safety and pavement conditions across TCPUD's 23-mile trail network.

Key improvements will include safety enhancements, pavement restoration, and select trail realignments to enhance intersection safety. While the trail will remain open, detours will be in place and to further prioritize safety, the Lake Forest Campground will be closed for the 2024 season to serve as a staging area for construction equipment to ensure project completion during the current construction season.

This important project is expected to be completed by the fall. TCPUD appreciates trail users' patience and cooperation during this time. For further information, please visit our Multi-Use Trail Rehabilitation Project site HERE.
