Junior Assistant Sailor
Description
This volunteer-based program prepares young sailors, ages 12-14, to work as a Sailing Junior Aide at age 14 and as a Sailing Instructor at age 16. Each Junior Assistant Sailor (JAS) has the opportunity to apply their sailing skills and knowledge volunteering with the Tahoe City Community Sailing program. JAS Volunteers can volunteer with the program for at least two weeks or the whole summer!
