Public Record Request

The California Public Records Act, Government Code §6250 requires that public records in the custody of the District shall be available for public inspection pursuant to the provisions of the act.  Therefore, the terms of the Act are hereby incorporated by reference and shall constitute the District Records Policy of the Tahoe City Public Utility District.

Public records maintained by the District shall be available for inspection during the regular business hours of the District. The District Clerk shall be the official custodian of District records and shall make any nonexempt records freely available to the public in accordance with Government Code §6250 et seq.  The District may refuse to make available records that are exempt from disclosure pursuant to Government Code §6254 or other applicable law.
